Filling up AdBlue®
There is a separate tank for AdBlue® which is generally located next to the fuel tank. Never add AdBlue directly to your fuel tank. Consult your vehicle manufacturer or vehicle’s handbook before filling up.
If you accidentally place AdBlue® in your fuel tank do not drive your vehicle. Immediately contact your service agent who can assist you with vehicle towing and repair.
Storing AdBlue®
- AdBlue® is considered a very stable product with a long shelf life. If it is stored at temperatures between -12 ° and 32 ° C, it can be stored at least for a year.
- AdBlue® freezes at temperatures lower than -11 °C.
- Close the AdBlue® container firmly and store it in a cool, dry, well ventilated place. Do not expose the container to direct sunlight.
